What am I to you? Just another pretty face to have in your room. Sing me another one of your songs, I can't help but to hum along. As I step into the wind tonight, I can't help but to feel that somethings not right. I'm feeling small under these city lights. Take me back to the darkest part of night. 'Cause I find it liberating to be alone. I filled this house with love and found a home. There's things about me these boys will never know. With one foot in the door I'm ready to go. I'm ready to go. I really am quite a simple girl. Don't need much just and honest word and a sincere touch. If you can't give me what I need. Then please just let me be. 'Cause I find it liberating to be alone. I filled this house with love and found a home. There's things about me these boys will never know. With one foot in the door I'm ready to go. I'm ready to go.

Hard Times 03:18
My windshield cracked on the way to the store today, what do I do? My daughter misses her father 'cause he moved to California, what do I do? First of the month I have to choose what not to pay, what do I do? Hard times I've seen enough of you. Spent enough time repaying my dues. Can't you find something else to do than bother me? Senseless guilt likes to linger above my head, what do I do? Pushed everyone away cause I'm afraid, what do I do? The darkness always finds a way inside, what do I do? Well, you can't have light without the dark. You won't know fear without a couple scars. You can't just sit there asking why. You'll live in regret if you never try. Hard times I've seen enough of you. Spent enough time repaying my dues. Can't you find something else to do than bother me? Just can't be satisfied lord know that I try, what do I do? I'm always craving more, what am I starving for? What do I do?

I hear the buzzing of 100 honey bees. I'm scared the wind will come and blow the color off the trees. And when the sun sinks low that's when my skin begins to glow. It's never felt so right to walk away and let go Rain wash over me Rain was me clean Lazy fog rolls a steady pace across the lake. No matter what we do we just can't seem to catch a break. When will the people see how many live in poverty? There's nothing left to take, they took it all don't you see? Rain wash over me Rain wash me clean

Broken 02:50
I was just a child when I first left home. Wide eyed and innocent I was never alone. I drank and I smoked with the free loving folk. Somewhere along the way something gave way and left me broke. I am broken. How'd I get so broken? The world can be mean it will nock you around. Hit you again when you're on the ground. And then you will sink to the darkest of place and there you may find the most unexpected face and they'll say. When did you get so broken? How'd you become so broken? I'll sit alone as the sun comes up, daybreak may help me to sober up here sits the girl Too scared to ever grow up. If I could only steal just an ounce of your luck I might not be. Forever broken. Who could love someone so broken?

See 03:27
See. See. Call your babies home. Call your babies home. Know your brother by his face. Know your brother by his face. See. See. Hear our mother as she cries. Hear our mother as she cries . See. See. Be the change you want to see. Give your soul exactly what it needs. See. See.

Haven't seen the sun in days, living under every shade of gray. We're not getting any younger, I heard a passing stranger say. Lets drive home the back way. I just found this old class two road. Kids are sleeping in the back seat. We can take it nice and slow. I suppose that's true. What lies ahead for me and you? Gotta live within each moment. It will be gone before you know it. Lets drive home the back way. I just found this old class two road. Kids are sleeping in the back seat. We can take it nice and slow. All these busy people, live in their perfect busy lives. They are bound to muss a few things. The smell of blue skies The song a sunrise sings.

The callused fingers fumble over the strings. Do you only find me beautiful when I sing? In a dark bar where the lights are kept low. Nothing better to do and no where better to go. I've spent my life wanting to run. I've spent my live just living for the fun. You couldn't stop me if you tried. Say hello to you just as I say goodbye. Why does everyone want, why do we need? This world is filled with too much ugly greed. Find light in the forrest where you can live wild and free. Don't be scared take me hand, follow me. I've spent my life wanting to run. I've spent my live just living for the fun. You couldn't stop me if you tried. Say hello to you just as I say goodbye.
